Quan Yao Lim is a composer, music producer, and audio engineer. He picked up the piano at the age of 6, and is influenced by jazz, pop, rock, R&B, and soul music. 

He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the reputable Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor's Degree in Contemporary Writing and Production. At Berklee, he explored a wide range of contemporary concepts and techniques of composing, arranging, and sound production, in both analog and digital domains. 

As a versatile musician, Quan Yao has the ability to write music using various combinations of instruments and vocals in acoustic and electronic settings. 

He is currently based in Boston, and is focusing on writing music for radio and television commercials.
